About DIR Transload Facility - Davenport, IA
Davenport Industrial Railroad (DIR) proudly operates the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center's Transload Facility on the north side of Davenport, IA. This facility is located only two miles off of I-80, is gated and secure, has a capacity for over 20 railcars, has spill containment structures for loading/unloading railcars, and a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse complete with truck and rail cross-docks. The facility is well suited to transload commodities such as lumber, recycled/scrap paper, liquid chemicals and fertilizers, dry bulk transfer products, plastics, and more. DIR is ready to expand our transloading equipment to include pneumatic and liquid pumps, railcar heating, conveyors, and more based on your needs.
