Transcor aims to provide rail solutions to clients lacking close access to rail facilities, promoting sustainability for companies currently reliant on long-distance trucking. Rail transportation allows for quicker shipment of more material while also earning carbon credits.
Transcor offers two rail sidings for transloading services, with a third track coming soon. These sidings can accommodate high and low side rail cars, bulk dry and wet tankers, and sidecars for pallet offloading. Our site includes a certified FDOT truck scale for accurate inbound and outbound weights, and we have extensive storage capabilities for pre- and post-loading. Approved by FDOT as a transloading terminal, we have the necessary heavy equipment on-site to handle a variety of products and the capacity to store and load commodities for outbound shipments.
Conveniently located less than a mile from I-4 and 6.5 miles from I-75, and close to the Port of Tampa, our facility allows for quick and efficient access.
Currently, our track capacity is 29 spots, with plans to expand to accommodate over 55 spots.
